Help Keep the Dog Park Clean
Take pride in your community and parks and do your part to take care of the facilities. Pick up after dog(s) and we suggest you pick up any waste you see that may have been inadvertently missed by other park users and dispose of properly. If we all did this we would have the cleanest dog park in the area and we all probably miss one once in awhile so please pay it forward. Bags are provided as a courtesy by POOCH and paid for by member dues, donations and fund raisers.
There is a donation box by the gate in both dog parks. No donation is too small, every little bit helps towards achieving our goals.
Please welcome new visitors!
That new dog coming in may just be the new best buddy of your dog so make an effort to welcome newcomers. Please do not congregate around the entrance. If the dogs make a “gang” at the gate when someone is trying to enter, please move your dog(s) away from the gate so the entering dog does not feel threatened. (“Fear Aggression”) is the number one cause of dog fights. Even though your dog may just be friendly and greeting, the new dog does not know that and can very quickly become overwhelmed from several dogs rushing in to greet them.
