Meet the POOCH Board
| Michelle Knotts, President I’ve had the privilege of serving as your POOCH President for over a year. I’m an Ohio native but have called the beautiful state of California my home now for 10 years. I am the proud mom of 3 dogs. Dayzee a 12 year old Beagle/Blue Heeler, Dash an 8yr old Spaniel mix, and June who was a 12.5 yr Labradoodle that recently crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. Dogs have been a passion of mine all of my life and I can’t imagine any day without the unconditional love of a dog. My hope is for each of you to make as many new friends and awesome memories as I have being a part of our incredible dog park. |  |
| Karyn Dunn, Vice President I am a dog lover! There is not a dog I have met that I don’t love. I am retired (Kinda), volunteer at a dog rescue and spend the rest of time, spoiling my two dogs Chrissie and Cody. They both love the park, Chrissie a golden retriever who loves to dunk her head and paw in a bucket or make dirt angels. Cody a golden doodle is well…squirrel obsessed. He can mostly find him running and barking tree to tree looking for those pesky squirrels. We love C-Bar-C and want everyone to enjoy it as much as we do. | |
| Starr Livingston, Secretary You can find Starr, Mazi, and Doug at C-Bar-C POOCH Park in the evenings, almost daily. When they aren't at the park, Mazi and Doug enjoy lazy days of lounging around, broken up with bouts of zoomies both inside and out. Mazikeen is a 2 year old Malinois mix, born into foster care. Her canine mom was rescued from Mexico, pregnant. Mazi has dubbed herself the Large Dog Park Greeter and Dentist. She's never met another dog she didn't like. Doug is a 1 year old Australian Cattle Dog that was abandoned at about 3 months old here at C-Bar-C. Thankfully Starr was able to take him home and into her care immediately. Doug has come a long way in a short time, learning to trust people again. Starr has been an Account Manager for a local agriculture export company for 10 years, exporting various tree nuts all aroind the world. | Pam Schulz, Treasurer I am owned by 3 very bossy beagles! After adopting our first beagle Eddie, we were hooked on the breed. He loved C-Bar-C Dog Park and would play fetch for hours (or until our arms fell off!). He loved to play with all of the dogs (and had his besties) and sniff every inch of our expansive park. We have since adopted 1 rehome (Pete), and rescued 2 (Milo and Abby). Life with them is sometimes a 3 ring circus but we wouldn’t change a thing. Going to the park or just walking the path around the park is the highlight of their day. We are so thankful that POOCH was started and has given all of us who love dogs a great place to let them enjoy their best dog life. |  |
| Media Relations – Richard Wood Hello there! Oliver here, I’m the one in the picture with four paws and all of my hair. My dad and I are POOCH volunteers. I have worked as a pooch Mascot at our events and my dad Is the Media Relations guy. My favorite things are: Meeting new friends. Hunting for moles (I am really good at that), Practicing Obedience training with dad (especially if there are treats involved) Dad and I love welcoming newcomers to the park ( I even give free hugs). We hope that you enjoy our dog park and that your doggos and you make some wonderful memories together. |  |
